Circus Centre Melbourne is a bold new initiative from the Flying Fruit Fly Circus, strengthening Victoria's reputation as the national home for circus.
About CCM
At Circus Centre Melbourne, artists come together to create, train, rehearse and perform — a home for circus and physical theatre in all its forms.
We are the Flying Fruit Fly Circus – Australia’s National Youth Circus and the country’s only full-time circus school for young people aged 8–19. Based in Albury-Wodonga on Wiradjuri Country, we’ve been inspiring artists and audiences for nearly 50 years, with graduates now performing in leading companies around the world. We are a proud member of the Arts8 group of national arts training organisations supported by the Australian Government.
In 2025, we opened Circus Centre Melbourne (CCM) on Wurundjeri Country, a bold new hub for contemporary circus and physical theatre. Housed in the iconic Collingwood building originally created for Circus Oz, CCM will be home to a growing community of artists, collaborators and innovators, while remaining a base for Circus Oz.
Together, our two sites connect regional and metropolitan Victoria, creating opportunities for training, performance, residencies and professional development. From youth circus to professional practice, from local community programs to international stages, we are building a future for circus and physical theatre that is inclusive, innovative and sustainable.
